Worm casting tea is created by steeping worm castings in water with sweetener and oxygen. The tea will contain nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and calcium which are essential nutrients in plant growth and health. The microbes found in the tea boost the health of the soil which in turn helps the plant defend itself against pests and diseases. Worm tea is highly unlikely to burn your plants however, should be diluted by 50% so the nutrients are not highly concentrated. This tea can be used every two weeks.

Compost Pile: Worm casting tea in your compost pile will help increase the speed of decomposition.

Hydroponics: The tea in hydroponics will provide enough nutrients for plants to grow. Be mindful that additional chemicals used in the hydroponic process may kill off the beneficial microbes.
